Black and white ebony, more commonly known as “Pale Moon Ebony”, is native to South East Asia. One of the world’s most exotic, visually stunning and most sought-after wood. The wood is known for the bold jet black ink lines which adorn its creamy, pale yellow base. Both the volume and pattern of its lines are unpredictable, varying greatly from piece to piece. Grains can be straight, wavy or irregular.
We are working hand in hand with the workshop outside of Luang Prabang, Laos that carves and makes each individual piece.
Please do not order if you can not accept variances from the photo. Each piece is unique. That is the beauty and nature of Pale Moon Ebony.
